A glass jar filled with mirrors that have been cut into diamond shapes. These mirrors are from the markets in India, where the word shisha means mirror. Shisha embroidery originated in India where the mirrors are embroidered into textiles to resemble reflections on water or the stars in the sky, and can also be a form of protection from evil.
The shisha mirrors are attached to cloth through embroidery stitches - a stitch diagram will be included with your purchase. These mirrors are also great for mosaic work or bringing the magic of reflection and glitter to any project or space.
Size of mirrors: approx. 0.5-0.75" (1.5cm - 2cm) - along each edge.
